Debbie Murphy, founder of Cadence Wealth Advisors, has a vision of helping people first. There is a rhythm to wealth planning that most people seldom achieve due to the fast paced lifestyle we all live and perhaps, the absence of an advisor willing to take the time to educate and build relationships. Raising horses most of her life and working in the financial services industry since 1993, has given Debbie a unique perspective toward hard work and the financial world supporting this work. “There is a cadence to all things in life that we tend to miss due to the fast pace of our world and our need to focus on what we do best,” states Debbie. After a long career in the corporate world of financial services, it became evident that many people were underserved and confused regarding complex financial offerings. Her passion is to understand the goals and dreams of families first, then deliver the financial service that work best for them.
Debbie's love for helping people and her attention to detail enables her to assess clients' needs and wants. Her passion for retirement and estate planning is fueled by a God-given desire to see everyone achieve a lifestyle of their choosing with dignity. She has an innate ability to see the client's perspective and bring new insights to light in order to help them achieve their goals and objectives.
While working with a broad range of individuals Debbie has found that there are no two clients with exactly the same issues or goals. Because each one has unique needs, desires and abilities that all work into their personal financial plan, clients become friends. Debbie believes, “you can't get to know people and their desires without digging deep. You have to really understand who they are first in order to help them achieve what is important to them.”
Debbie and her family have called Mount Juliet, Tennessee home for more than 25 years. She and her husband, L.M., live on a farm where they raise horses. “We have our own zoo cats, dogs, horses, kids all know they are loved and accepted, which is why they seem to find their way here and stay,” says Debbie. Three grown kids and one in college make up their family as well as four of the most perfectly beautiful grandchildren in the world. Attending World Outreach Church, she truly believes that “in all we do, we reflect God's goodness by helping others.” Debbie also is a member of the National Association of Professional Women and the Wilson County Chamber of Commerce. When not working, Debbie can be found outdoors, swimming, horseback riding, painting, writing, reading or simply enjoying nature.
